Moving to a new country, and starting at Miami University, is an exciting step. We are here to make the transition to living at Miami Preserve as smooth as possible. Here, you’ll find helpful information about leasing requirements, documentation, payments, and community policies so you can focus on settling into campus life with confidence.

  • We welcome all prospective residents who meet our leasing qualifications, including international students. Please feel free to reach out to us for details about the application process or any specific requirements you may need to fulfill. We look forward to assisting you!

  • We simply require a form of identification. For international students, this is typically a passport number or VISA information.

  • Yes. If you would like to qualify using a guarantor, your guarantor must be a U.S. citizen and meet Miami Preserve's standard income and credit requirements.

  • Students can also take advantage of two alternative options for financial qualifications: prepayment of the security deposit or enrollment in the Guarantor Waiver Program. Security deposits are equal to two months' rent. The Guarantor Waiver Program is a convenient option that requires a monthly fee of approximately $43 and eliminates the need to provide a guarantor or pay a security deposit.

  • Miami Preserve offers fully furnished apartments designed for convenience and comfort. The kitchens are equipped with black appliances, including a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and in-unit washer and dryer. The living area features a couch, love seat, entertainment center, coffee table, and end tables. Each bedroom includes a Full XL-size bed with a mattress, and a desk with a chair. Please note that you will need to bring your own dish ware, bedding, clothing, and any other personal items.

  • Miami Preserve offers a variety of tour options to suit your needs. If you’re unable to visit in person, we provide virtual tours for a personalized experience. Additionally, we can offer detailed pre-recorded video tours if you prefer a more flexible option.

  • Apartments at Miami Preserve lease up very quickly, so we recommend securing your spot as soon as possible to ensure availability.
